阪神・淡路大震災（はんしん・あわじだいしんさい）とは、1995年（平成7年）1月17日（火曜日）5時46分52秒（日本時間＝UTC+9）に発生した兵庫県南部地震により引き起こされた地震災害のことである。発生当時は第二次世界大戦後の日本において最悪の被害であった。
