유시민(柳時敏, 1959년 7월 28일~)은 대한민국의 작가, 언론인이자 정치평론가이다. 서울대학교 재학 시절 학생운동가로 활동했으며 이후 정계에 입문해 제16·17대 국회의원과 제44대 보건복지부 장관을 지냈다. 장관직 퇴임 이후에도 정치 활동을 하였으나 2013년 정계 은퇴를 선언하였다. 본관은 풍산이며 경상북도 경주 출생이다.
