제주 4·3 사건(한국 한자: 濟州四三事件)은 1947년 3월 1일을 기점으로 1948년 4월 3일 대한민국 제주도에서 발생한 소요사태 및 1954년 9월 21일까지 남조선로동당(남로당)의 지휘를 받는 빨치산 조직의 진압 과정에서 제주인들이 희생당한 사건을 말한다.
